Track 1 Design: Working around the parking lot islands. The island design at this school is more open. It proved to be an interesting test. I forgot my sprayer so it did not get sprayed. Run immediately
Track 2: Focused on transitions. Started in grass. Crossed into mulch, which required a step up and down. Back to grass before crossing a gravel dust path. Turn on grass, then crossed gravel dust track back to grass and on to asphalt. Aged 30 minutes.
Saber did pretty well on her first track. She was excited to get start. The spots without a true curb she wanted to pull into the grass and there was a drainage grate there so I am sure scent pools that way. I was tried to balance letting her explore to dismiss a direction and keeping her on track. I really don't want to give her too much leeway at this point.
Track 2: Saber surprised me on how well she did on this one. I thought the step up into the mulch might be a challenge but it did not seem to be at all. A nearby playground ball was intincing but she eventually managed to let it go and move on. She did not seem to want to leave the grass and move on to the asphalt but went with some encouragement. Again I forgot my sprayer so I don't know if water would have helped.

Track 1: Serpentine on asphalt.
Track 2: Grass with open left turn.
Syd's serpentine was pretty good. I might need to make wider loops. He very much enjoyed eating the hot dogs. He actually got so excited he missed a few, lol.
On his open turn track he made the turn but then started off to the right. Overall, I think he is doing pretty well.
