Baby Syd is Getting the Hang of This Tracking Thing.
We took a quick trick to Poor Farm Park after feeding horses. I put a little track in for Saber that crossed asphalt. Then I had Matt put in 3 starter tracks for Syd. The first to were scuff 5, walk 5 and about 50 yards long. The third one was s7, w7 and still about 50 yards long.
He did really well on the first two. On the 3rd one I think he got distracted by Matt standing at the end or maybe baby brain took over. Next time I'll have Matt stand behind me.
Here are tracks 2 and 3 (1 didn't get filmed): https://youtu.be/HDdrSxN4yuk
Saber Gets a Refresher
Saber's track only aged 20 minutes max.
Design:
60 yards grass, left turn
46 yards grass/asphalt/grass. Food in the middle of the asphalt and in the grass after leaving the asphalt. Right turn
32 yards grass to article (ran out of space and didn't want to cross the road again. Paralleled a small brick building. Food drop even with middle of building.
Really I just wanted something short and sweet that included a transition. She made pretty easy work of this. She skipped the asphalt hot dogs but found the rest. It is time to start more focused VST training.
