I started with a scent pad on the sidewalk. I did not find it to be profound. She didn't seem to care about the boundaries. She found the articles but would have wandered all over without boundaries. I'm not sure I employed correctly or if she got it. I will have to review Ann's lectures and videos on the scent pads.

I put in a short track with various obstacles. It only aged about 30 minutes. She made easy work of it. She went to the left of a tree where I had gone to the right, but quickly was exactly back on track. Easy turn. Her final article was on the picnic table (with food). She started to by pass the table, but found her article. Watching her chubby butt politely climb on the table to get it was entertaining.

Syd

I did a scent pad with Syd too. It had a cloth and leather square. He found them quickly so I did not see him test the boundaries. He really enjoys article indication.

Matt put a track in for him, but after the first leg I aborted the track. I didn't like his lack luster behavior. We are going to back up to simple straight lines.
