Saber's start was good. She lacked her typical enthusiam but was very workman like. She made the turn but you could see her energy waning. She went past the first article but came back to it without prompting. She picked it up but downed when asked. After getting rewarded she perked up a little. She found the scent pad and picked up a little steam. She did excellent in the woods. The article indication in the woods and exciting the woods were the same as the first. She is not downing but she is clearly stopping and indicating. Last turn was good. Clear lost of scent circle and locked into the track. Again I could see her energy waning but she got it done. There were a couple of spots she stopped and looked at me like why are we doing this. One was shortly after the first turn. When asked she went back to work but I don't like when she looks sad about. I think the warm weather had a lot to do with it.

Handling. I really tried to focus on keeping tension on the line and only moving if she was. It was hard when her energy was waning but I think I did an ok job.

Let’s do starts next. I’d like to see her energy and enthusiasm come back. Enthusiasm has always been her forte.
