Location: Holly Ridge Farm

Weather: 53 degrees sunny, 2-4 mph wind from the north, 59% humidity

Cover: Grass pasture and woods

Age: 3 hours, 10 minutes

Lackluster start. I let her have too much line. I ended up restarting. Once she got going she did pretty well. I was pleased with her turns and woods behavior. There was no extra exploring in the woods. She did have to content with some briars. Her article indications were fine. She didn't want to lay on the leaves and briars but she picked up the article there and clearly stopped at all of them.

The last turn out of the woods she struggles a little but I may have inadvertently pulled her off because I was way back in the woods trying to untangle myself from briars. I will have to rewatch that

Matt said the first woods entry was right in point the other two were to the left but then she corrected once in the woods.

First—next session, work starts. And work on YOU as much as her! today, did you exit woods and immediately turn? if so, was that better today?

maybe consider training a down, so if you get tangled in briars she can chill and wait while you get free. It’s also helpful should you fall. She will need not just to down, but also to restart from the interruption
