Saber

Time in 6:45 am, Time run 8:45 am, Age 2 hours

Weather: 55ish, no wind, 83% humidity

Video: None. Matt had to catch a plan.

Matt's Instructions: 2-300 yards, flags on turns since it was dark when he put it in, 2 food drops, 1 intermediary article

What Matt did: 300 yards, food on every leg except the last one, flags on turns, 1 intermediary article....so close enough

Saber started by doing Syd's track. When I tried to go directly to her track she said no thanks we are going this way. So that was a nice little warm up. Also Syd may have missed a few hot dogs in the tall grass.

When we got to Saber's track, I switch her line to her harness from her collar and off she went. She was absolute perfection. She made the turns like she was on rails. She looked like she loved what she was doing ❤️

Syd

Time In 6:35 am, Time Run 6:50 am, Age 15 minutes

Weather: 50 degrees, no wind, 83% humidity

Matt's instructions: S/W 5 for the first rotation, then 10/10, 15/15, 20/20, flag the turns, scuff in and out of turns, 1 left, 1 right, and end article with food. What Matt did: Random treats but he did reduce them as he went, the rest was correct.

Syd was fantastic! It was still kind of dark when we ran his track. I don't think he saw the start article, but he had a nice start. His tracking was straight. Maybe it was the walls of grass on either side or maybe he is getting the hang of this tracking game. He deeply believes in no treat left behind. He was not crazy about tracking through the prickly pear. He did eventually lay down for his final article but I didn't force the issue because it was in a bed of prickles and he generally super about his article indication. Overall I was very happy with his tracking. I am going to reduce the on track rewards and when that is looking good we will starting adding a little more age.
