2/18/2024 Winston-Salem TDX Test

Good start. Found her first article. Good woods entry. We exited the woods and should have continued straight into a cornfield. Saber went to the right and then backtracked and entered the cornfield. Based on the way she was tracking, I thought it was an open turn (later confirmed) because she was stairsteeping. The track went diagonally across the cornfield, making it difficult. She took the second crosstrack following the rows out. The tracklayer couldn't get us back on the track so she did not finish because I did not want encourage random sniffing.

2/25/2024 Durham TDX Test

Beautiful start. She made the first few turns. Found a bonus article and the intentional article. Crossed the creek and entered the woods with all the confidence in the world. Made the first turn in the woods. Skipped the next turn in the woods to try and roll in something an animal left behind. Got tangled in branches. We could not make our way back to the track. I was a little frustrated with the tangle and losing my bearings so I couldn't back up. Saber was quite pleased with her little adventure. Once we got on the track she finished but not with as much gusto as the start. Still need to work on stamina. Based on yardage we completed 73% - so close.

3/3/2024 Richmond Test

Saber just didn't seem like she was feeling herself at this test. Good start and first turn. She went past the log obstacle, made the next turn, found an article and went past the cross tracks. She missed what should have been and easy turn for her and started making up her own track. Once we were back on the track she didn't have much issue. She sniffed around the last turn a long time before taking it. Again, I am thinking stamina. The end article was missing.
