Saber

Time in: 6:51 am

Time Run: 7:30 am

I put in a straight track for Saber. I started on grass, crossed a gravel area that turned into a concrete sidewalk. There were articles and food drops for reinforcement.

Her start was good. The grass and gravel were easy. The concrete sidewalk she was unsure. The 1st article she dismissed and went to check out a bush. After a food drop her tracking improved and she appeared more focused. Good finish. We are going to back up a little more in our training.

Syd

Time in: 7:00 am

Time Run: 7:15 am

Syd had great starts and article indications. The first turn was a right. He wanted to go straight. At the time I was not sure wha twas distracting him, but in hindsight, I think he saw another start flag and his brain start flag = article = treats. Once he was back on the track he was fine. He was so focused on what he was doing that he completely ignored a man walking by with trekking poles.

The left turn on his second track was perfect.
