Catch up post.

Forgot to screenshot the weather.

Saber

I had to change my plan. Saber's track started on the grass, crossed a sidewalk, back onto grass, returned to concrete sidewalk, turned right on concrete, up a few steps, down a hill on grass. Hard surfaces were sprayed with water. There were a few food drops.

Saber's start was ok. She really seemed like she was struggling on the concrete. To the point I questioned if she is really tracking. She sniffed and dismissed the metal mid-track article. We need to work on our metal and plastic indications.

This was not my favorite track in design or Saber's tracking, but it helped me focus on our training plan. We are now focusing on concrete. My plan is to focus on each non-veg surface to strengthen Saber's skills.

Syd

Syd ran short 2 tracks. One left turn and one right turn. The first track was about 15 x 20 yds and the second was about 20 x 15 yds and crossed a brick sidewalk.

Syd's article indications are great. He was a little sniffy around the start but started to straighten out as he went along. He sniffed a lot around the left turn on track 1. On track 2 he wanted to cut the right turn. He crossed the brick sidewalk without a problem.

Glad to hear you are incorporating ‘obstacles’ from the beginning! Good job
