I put in an 8 turn track. Each leg was 50 yards. There was white flag at 25 yd and a pink flag on the turn. There was a food drop on every leg at 8, 9, 10 and articles without food on 3 legs.
The heavy reinforcement was intentional. I wanted to reward her for making the turn and she's been a little blah about tracking.
Her start was pretty good. The first two legs she tracked wide and swung wide are round the turns. After that she really tightened up and tracked true to track. On turn she mowed over the flag she turned so tight.
Her first two article indications were ok but I had to ask her to down. She picked up the coozie. She just stood over the comb. The comb is an article she will miss, so I took it. The third article, a sock she picked up and then downed without being asked. I did reward her at all the articles once she downed.
The last leg through the trees was interesting. She wound her self all up checking out alternatives to not have to go through the close small trees but eventually made her way back to the track every time and finished nicely. The advantage of know where the track was, I gave her all the line she wanted and let her sort it out. She definitely looks for the path of least resistance. I can't say I blame her. #DogLikeOwner
