Location: Holly Ridge

Weather: 50s overcasts

Run time: 4:45 pm

Age: 1 hours 30 minutes

Total Distance: 700 yards

Track Design:

Stairstep-ish

The last couple of legs lost meandered due to the woods.

Each leg was a 100 yards except leg 6 which was 50 due to geography and leg 7 was 150 to make up for leg 6.

Article on each leg. Leg one scent pad at 50, article at 75. Scent pad about 20 after articles on every other leg.

Saber had a good start. She was very strong for the first 600ish yards. The last turn you could tell she was getting mentally fatigued because she wanted to explore a little more. The turn on to leg 6 I over shot and ended up backing up to have a better woods entrance. She checked it out and found exactly where I entered the woods. I tried to use articles a rewards after an obstacle or change in cover.

Overall, I was very pleased with her. She is back to her sassy self.
