Saber

Location: Ashland Elementary School

Weather: 36 degrees, sun setting

Time In : 5:50 pm

Age: 20 minutes. We were running out of daylight and had dinner reservations

Length: about 225 yds

Video:

Saber did well. At the first turn she slightly over shot it and I saw a clear loss of scent. While she was thinking my feet were moving too much. We backed up and found the track. I walked in the grass and she choose to walk in the curb for a portion of the leg. She loves to stick her head in sewers. She did well crossing the asphalt, which is fairly fresh. There were a lot of treats. She had to think hard about stepping over the curb and continuing forward. She checked down the curb first. I liked how she did once she committed to the concrete sidewalk. She did want to track me out instead of indicating her last article.

Syd

Location: Holly Ridge Farm

Weather: Low 30s

Time In: 8:40 am, Age: 40 minutes

Cover: Grass/snow

Video:

Goal: Still working on turns. I shortened the distance between the flags this time. Syd spent most of the time tracking just to the right of the track. He got a little distracted by some birds but was able to go back to work and finished strong.
