Saber
Asphalt 2 video:
Matt put in Saber's track per my instructions. While he was doing that I did some asphalt work. When I went to pull her out of her crate she had vomited in it. That kind of set the tone.
I sprayed a serpentine with food every 10 steps or so. She did great. Even at the end with a long straight part and no food just an end article. She did so well I decided to do a second one. I put her back (after cleaning her crate pad - score for having a sprayer!) The second one was straight lines and turns like a Pac Man track. Food spaced a little further. Again no again. She crushed it. Matt was back, so this one is on video.
Saber's track aged for about 45 minutes while we worked Syd. Her start was week. Her first turn was terrible. After that she really didn't even seem like she was tracking. We made it to the end but I was frustrated. After returning home she threw up 2 more times. Huge piles, like everything she had eaten that day. So instead of going into the details of everything I hated about this track, I chalk it up to her not feeling well and having a very bad, no good day. I didn't rewatch the video. I didn't upload the video. I wrote this one off.
Syd
Video:
Syd did one straight line track and a one turn track. It was 7 steps, 7 scuff with food each rotation (14ish?). Syd did really well. He was much straighter. He was able to look at a distraction and return to work. He overshot his turn, but once we backed up and stopped tracking backwards, he made the turn and carried on in a straightish fashion. He article indications are great. There maybe hope post-duck season.
