The dogs were loving the cooler weather.

Saber

Track 1: Time In: 8:30, Time Run 8:40, Age 10 minutes

Track 2: Time In: 8:26, Time Run 8:46, Age 20 minutes

I put in track 2 first. I walked in my socks for both tracks. Track 1 arced around the front of Hanover High School. I figured this would tell me if Saber was truly tracking or not.

Track 2 was a straight line down the sidewalk. A leather article on the turn. Turn left and continue straight down the sidewalk.

I was very pleased with Saber. She was definitely tracking on the first track. She did want to get pulled up into the school entrance, but focused when her line was limited. Her second track she stayed focused. She indicated the leather square and picked up the track in the new direction.

Syd

Track 1:

Track 2:

2 50 X 50 yard tracks. One with a right turn and one with a left turn. The first was scuff 5/walk 5 for one rotation then 10/10. The second was 7/7 for the first rotation then 10/10.

I think Syd liked the cooler weather and taller grass. He was much straighter in his tracking. He serpentined a little at the start but much less than he has been. He LOVES article indication. He indicated his start and end articles and the pins on the turn. Food is life. The second track turned and went down hill. He started down the turn then backtracked a little. He had a little assist getting back to it, but then did fine.
